newspaper, The Desert Sun. In the newspaper's most
recent poll, Fantasy
Springs Casino also was the reader's choice for

Located on the reservation of the Cabazon Band of
Mission Indians near Indio, California, Fantasy
Springs Casino began operations as a cardroom in
1980 before adding bingo in 1983. Video gaming
machines were added in the early 1990s and video
slot machines were installed in October 2000 to
coincide with the opening of two-story addition
that has created a 265,000 square foot gaming and
entertainment venue.
It's no wonder that Fantasy Springs Casino
attracts more than one million visitors annually
with recreational options such as bingo (including
video bingo that can be played in English or
Spanish), blackjack, poker and other card games,
off-track horse wagering and nearly 1,300 slot
machines (including progressive slots that are
connected nationwide that could result in jackpots
of up to $15 million). In addition to holiday
festivities, the casino hosts promotions offering
guests a chance to win a car, a vacation, cash or
other major prizes. And the rewards are plenty for
members of Club Fantasy, the casino's new player's
club that has a growing membership of more than
70,000.
Entertainment can be found everywhere at Fantasy
Springs Casino, including our regular weekly shows
in Fantasy Lounge that include everything from
country-western and latino music. This fall our
"Under The Stars Amphitheater" is player host to
major entertainment acts such as Olivia
Newton-John (Oct. 6) and Lee Ann Womack (Oct.
11). Our "Fantasy Live!" indoor concert venue
heats up every weekend with comedy and major
musical acts in the Fantasy Lounge. Sandi C.
Shore's Comedy Island attracts top local and
national legends to the casino's stage most
weekends. Other weekends, you'll find an eclectic
mix of popular bands such as Starship featuring
lead singer Mickey Thomas (Sept. 21), Malo (Nov.
15), Tierra (Nov. 16) and Eric Burdon & The New
Animals (Dec. 21).
Past entertainers who have performed "under the
stars" include LeAnn Rimes, The Moody Blues, Faith
Hill, Bill Cosby, Kenny Rogers, Trisha Yearwood,
The Temptations, Enrique Iglesias, George Jones,
Keith Sweat and REO Speedwagon. For recreational
fun that will "bowl" you over, try our Fantasy
Lanes Family Bowling Center, connected to Fantasy
Springs Casino. The state-of-the-art, 24-lane
